Swift Winter Series
The Swift Winter Series is a friendly but competitive sliding-seat rowing league held across Chichester Harbour during the winter months. Crews from local clubs come together to race Swift rowing boats over a series of harbour courses.
Designed to keep rowers active through the colder months, the series combines short, fast races with longer endurance rows, all set against the beautiful surroundings of Chichester Harbour. Events cater for a range of abilities, from developing crews to experienced racing teams, while encouraging teamwork, fitness and good seamanship.
Each event is hosted by a different harbour club, giving crews the opportunity to experience varied conditions, courses and club communities. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, with an emphasis on participation, enjoyment and inter-club camaraderie.
Results from each event contribute to the overall Winter Series standings, providing crews with the opportunity to compete for honours across the season.
