Dell Quay Centenary

The Dell Quay Centenary celebrations brought together rowers from across the harbour for a unique and spirited multi-class regatta. With Dell Quay marking 100 years, visiting clubs joined a busy programme of racing designed to showcase cooperation, competition, and the rich heritage of the harbour’s rowing community.
The fleet included up to eight Celtic longboats and two Bursledons, with familiar names such as Crazy Daisy and Olive joining the line-up.
Race Format and Classes
The regatta programme comprised:
- Ladies’ Race
- Open/Men’s Race
- Mixed Race 1
- Mixed Race 2
This was a true multi-class competition, featuring both Celtics and Bursledons, with OY25 handicaps applied to ensure fair comparison across the fleet.
